About Ashley

I'm currently an assistant teacher at a special education school in Lexington, where I support students with diverse learning needs. I hold a degree in Social Work from Bridgewater State University and plan to pursue a Master's in Counseling, focusing on children and teens with disabilities. My background in caregiving includes a variety of meaningful experiences. I've worked as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), providing one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities, and have extensive experience babysitting for families with multiple children. During my year-long internship at Healthy Families in New Bedford, I supported young, first-time parents of children from newborn to age 3, offering guidance and resources. Beyond Massachusetts, I've participated in mission trips to Haiti, Costa Rica, and Ecuador. These experiences allowed me to teach English, share health and nature knowledge, and connect with children and teens through music and cultural exchange.
