Facilities that house and feed persons who are unable to care for themselves but do not require the level of medical attention provided by a nursing home or hospital, such as the elderly or those with mental or physical impairments. My grandma had dementia and required all of my attention, which made taking care of her a difficult task. I cared for her for two years before she passed away; she was wonderful, and she enjoyed being around others, though there were times when she forgot who I was-which was, of course, part of her illness. Nonetheless, I used to spend time with her by taking her to restaurants, on park strolls, and to see Spider-Man, her all-time favorite film.
