About Ashley

Hello, my name is Ashley and I am a responsible and independent 22-year-old college senior. I am currently interning with the Social and Emotional Learning Project at Sac State, where I teach lessons on self-awareness, social-awareness, healthy relationships, self-management and responsible decision making, at Hollywood Park Elementary & California Middle School. I have also previously interned at Ethel Philips Elementary School in the speech pathology classrooms. Personally, I come from a large family. I have two older brothers and 15 cousins whom I have grown with and have cared for my whole life. I organize birthday parties, holiday dinners, 'secret-santa' gift exchanges and I like to make thoughtful, homemade crafts. I've changed diapers, I've listened to problems, I've given advice & I do my best find the best way to pick them up when they're down. I have experienced familial adversity, and I feel stronger for it. I promise to dependable & trustworthy to all that I care for.
