Animals have always been a huge part of my life and one of my greatest passions. My animal care journey started at the age of 13 at the Humane Society as a dog walker. From there, I went on to work at a couple dog daycares. I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments-supervising group play, administering medications, and ensuring a safe environment. That experience sparked an interest in working with a wider variety of animals. I began volunteering at animal sanctuaries and later worked alongside a veterinarian who specialized in reptiles and small mammals. Over the years, I've also provided pet sitting for many families-caring for everything from playful puppies and senior cats to exotic pets. I'm also certified in Pet First Aid and have reliable transportation. Thank you for considering me to care for your pet. Ashley was hired in Jan to care for our 1 yr old son. She connected with our son. She seemed very patient and I always came home to a very happy baby which made me okay with the less than mediocre upkeep of our household. She claims to have 8 yrs experience, but she needed quite a bit of guidance on my sons growth and development as well as maintaining light housekeeping listed in the signed contract. I figured it just takes time for her to know our daily routine and expectations. In the beginning she asked me to continue writing tasks in a book that I need her to get done. Over time I noticed my son's daily tasks weren't being attended to (e.g. putting away his jackets and diaper bag, washing his bottles, wiping up kitchen after tending to him, throwing away his diapers, etc). I felt like I was writing tasks that were obvious nanny duties. She texted that she felt "disrespected" by the grocery and laundry duties (which are listed on her profile) and stopped showing up for work.
