I have over 12 years of experience working with children who have special needs. My Mom is a Speech Language Pathologist, when I was younger I would go to work with her and watch her work with her students who had special needs. I also volunteered with the Special Olympics when I was younger and really enjoyed it. When my youngest sister was born with a cleft palate, I became more interested in helping children with special needs. In my senior year of high school, I interned with Birth to Three and was convinced that I wanted to work with children who had special needs. I love what I do and making a difference in the lives of children!
