Hi my name is Ashley, I am deaf and have a cochlear implant. I am 32 years old and have a son. I have been a teacher assistant at Mill Neck Manor School Of The Deaf for almost 6 years now. I've been working with pre-K through high school, but currently I am working with 4th and 5th-graders. My first language is American Sign Language and my second spoken language is English. I enjoy teaching the kids as educational stuff, enjoy activities, learning, and more. It is my favorite thing to watch and help the kids learn something new so that they will never give up on their dreams and do what they love! Why hire me?
