About Ashley

I love working with kids because they aren't afraid to ask questions, try out new theories, and utilize their curiosity to learn their likes and dislikes. I realized that children teach me as much, if not more, than I teach them. Viewing the world from their standpoint is fantastic; everything feels so light, looks so colorful, smells so fresh, and nothing is disappointing because everything is equally okay. I'm currently a full-time registered behavioral technician and center coordinator at an autism care center, so I would gladly help after 6 p.m. on weekdays or weekends! I started working with kids when I was 15 years old. I first began with volunteering at Ann-Reid Childcare Center and babysitting after school, then after high-school I became a full-time nanny. In my spare time, I love to dabble in different art mediums, from ceramics to jewelry making. I love exploring new paths and creeks, taking courses that interest me, and reading fiction novels.
