Hello! My name is Ashley and I have been caring for children since I was 15. I started as a daycare assistant and since then I've been a nanny for multiple families with children newborn-7 years, lead infant classrooms where I was responsible for up to 7 infants, and been a vacation nanny! I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Social Work in May 2018! My husband & I moved to Central FL from Michigan in Feb 2020 and I'm looking for some part-time work! I love playing outside, reading & singing with children. I love seeing what their minds come up with during play. It's so fun to be a part of a child's development & something I truly treasure! We were coming from out of town for an event and were using Care.com for the first time out of necessity. I was very nervous about leaving our 10 month old daughter with someone I hadn't met before, especially because she had recently started going through separation anxiety. Not only did Ashley come over a little early before we left so my daughter could get comfortable with her, she sent us pictures throughout the night which totally set my mind at ease and allowed me to enjoy the evening. She was great about communicating throughout the week while we made plans, was on time, and had a very calming and assuring way about her with my daughter. When we got home I joked with her that I didn't want to write this glowing review because I wanted to keep her a secret! :) We will definitely be contacting Ashley again when we come to town.
