About Ashley

Ever since I was younger, I've had a knack for connecting with children and as I grew it became children and young teens. I have worked with children all my life, starting with babysitting the neighbors' children, then I moved to my first childcare job at the YMCA. I went to school for elementary education, early childhood education, as well as communication. Listening and understanding along with giving appropriate advice and classroom management is something I've learned how do over the years of working with all age groups while being a lead teacher for The Goddard School. Currently I am a Direct Support Professional, which provides high quality professional support for those who need specialized support. Being fun, outgoing, crafty, as well as having taken classes on lesson planning provides me with countless activities and learning fun to fill a day with laughter, smiles, and knowledge.
