About Ashley

Hello! My name is Ashley, I am 24-years-old. I have lived in San Diego my whole life, with the exception of my college experience as a collegiate volleyball player, which was spent in Norther California, and Oregon. I am fun-loving, passionate, compassionate, kind, generous, and reliable. I am very passionate about quality childcare and child development. As a reflection of this, I am currently studying to obtain my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling specializing in Childhood and Adolescent Disorders at Grand Canyon University (online). My philosophy on child development is that we need to meet the child where they are and work with them on their level, providing support, guidance, love, and gentle correction. My hobbies include working out, reading, painting, spending time at the beach, and spending time with the people I love the most! My babysitting journey started with me, as the big sister, watching my younger siblings, Philip and Kourtney.
