I have worked with Special Needs children for about five years now. I have been a Teacher's Assistant in the Bethpage School District for five years in the Special Education Program. I have worked in the classroom as an overall TA and also as a one to one. I am also in my Master's program for Special Education 1-6 and Childhood 1-6. Over the Summer, I have also volunteered at a Special Needs camp called Horse Ability. Special Education will always have a special place in my heart and I am very passionate about Special Education. Every student deserves a chance to succeed no matter what the challenge or obstacle that stands in their way. Every individual is unique and special and deserves to be heard and learn as much as they are able to. I want to make a difference in the world and help every student with special needs as much as I can and know just because they may be different they are so special and unique to the world and so loved.
