I have worked as a professional nanny for 20 years now, so I know how important it is for every family to find the right fit. My goal as a nanny is layered. First and foremost I prioritize getting to know the parents, understanding their expectations and creating a good foundation between us. It's very important that you feel completely comfortable inviting me into your home, leaving your children in my care and to feel confident that your parenting style and values are being honored in your absence. I view the nanny/parent relationship as a team effort because it truly does take a village! Then of course building a loving and close relationship with the child comes next. I never want a child in my care to feel any less loved, safe or cared for than when they're with their parents/family. My care style is calm and compassionate, I believe that you can mix fun with learning and that there's a whole world of exploring to do right under our finger tips.
