Hi, I have been with my most recent family for 4 years, they have a now 2 and 4-year-old. Most of my almost 9 years of experience has been with infants and toddlers however I have also volunteered in elementary and middle schools helping children who were struggling and needed extra support. I am an Early Childhood Education major and would like to teach first or second grade. So far I have two certifications in early childhood education and I am about 20 credits away from graduating. I am a huge believer in the power of science based play and I love Montessori and Reggio Emilia methods. I love working with families to best support their children! Childcare is not one size fits all and each child needs individualized care to get the best support while they learn and grow! I have experience with special needs including autism, physical development delays from a stroke and more. I have also worked in ELL classrooms.
