As a dedicated tutor with six years of experience, I believe every student has unique potential. I aim to create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment, while providing appropriate accommodations and meeting students at their individual level. I actively listen to and observe students' initial interactions with new material and encourage open communication. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrate small successes, and break down complex problems. Communication is essential for understanding student needs, progress, and setting clear expectations. I am a certified teacher experienced with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). I can help with Math, English, Science, Test Preparation, Study Skills, and History at the elementary level. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I would love to use my skills to help your student succeed!
