About Ashby

My previous nannying experiences inspired me to dedicate myself wholeheartedly to childcare, and I truly love building meaningful, trusting relationships with children and families. I have seven years of experience caring for children from newborn through pre-teen, and I bring a calm, patient, and empathetic approach to every role. I hold two associate degrees and am currently earning my bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley, graduating in the spring, with emphasis in Early Child Development that informs how I support children's growth and emotional needs. I enjoy engaging kids through educational play, and I am comfortable caring for up to three children at a time. I value clear, respectful communication, always following parents' preferences. I am comfortable enforcing household rules, and happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision.
