I am a Doula who focuses on supporting mothers and families throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I mainly provide support for newborns, infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. I am warm, patient, calm, nurturing, vigilant, and discerning. I am excellent at pouring into mothers and a guiding, playful hand with children. I am very flexible to each families individual needs and approaches to raising their children. I am constantly learning something new from children and protect their purity and individuality and encourage growth. A non-negotiable for me is balanced nutrition. I am happy to get creative in any way, but the food we eat no matter the age is so, so important as human beings. I encourage self-care for all ages and nutrition is a part of that! I am happy to help out with household chores and love help from the little ones when it's age appropriate (if it's ok with you).

We were so luck to find Ashanee. She has been taking care of my 8 month old son for the past four months, and we could not have asked for a better caregiver. I was initially hesitant about hiring a babysitter for my son, but I was immediately put to ease when I met Ashanee and saw her interact with my son for the first time. He loves her and now misses her when she is away! Ashanee is extremely reliable, respectful and caring. She is a practicing doula and is very knowledgeable about babies and children. Apart from that, she is also a wonderful person with a bright spirit and is a pleasure to be around. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality childcare.
