I'm passionate about helping students unlock their full potential through personalized support. My teaching philosophy centers around building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning. I actively listen to students and observe their interactions with new material, adapting my methods to suit their individual learning style. By connecting challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrating small victories, I keep students motivated and engaged. Open communication is essential, and I value building trust with both students and parents. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and watching their confidence soar is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring for me. I have a college degree and one year of experience tutoring Math, English, Test Preparation, Computers, Study Skills, and History for elementary and middle school students. I am CPR trained and have First Aid certification. I would love to use my skills to help your student thrive!
