I like working with kids because I've seen firsthand how meaningful it is to make a positive impact on a child's day, especially for kids who need a little extra patience or structure. It's rewarding to create a space where kids can thrive, have fun, and be themselves. I value roles where I can use my experience in childcare, behavioral support, and education, while also continuing to grow my skills. In my spare time, I enjoy reading literature, playing tennis, and experimenting in the kitchen with new desserts and meals. I'd say my top three childcare skills are patience, especially when it comes to handling different behaviors or emotions. I'm also good at helping with homework and making learning feel less like a chore and more like something fun. I'm really reliable when it comes to safety. I'm CPR and AED certified, I have my own insured car, and parents have always told me they feel comfortable leaving their kids with me because I'm responsible and calm under pressure.
