About Arlene

Hello! My name is Arlene, a rising junior at Barnard College of Columbia University studying Developmental Psychology and Public Policy! I have experience working as a childcare teacher for children aged 12 - 36 months, as well as babysitting for children aged 18 months to 8 years old! I love making funny voices while reading, going on adventure walks, and creating small science experiments to discover :) I have experience taking children to school, helping with homework, reheating/making a light dinner, and bedtime routines. I also have my own car so I have reliable transportation. I would love to have a chance to see if I'm a good fit for your family! I like working with kids because they continue to amaze me with how much they know and learn on the daily, and teach me as well. I love watching them grow in their curiosity and confidence, and being a part of that! In my spare time, I like to read novels, go to the beach with my friends, and scout for perfect matcha/chai cafes!
