I currently work in the emergency room as a patient advocate. I lived for over 20 years with my elderly mother and my grandmother. They have both since passed, but I was a caregiver to both. I took them to doctors' appointments, helped with personal care and housekeeping, as well as meal planning and preparation. I also would set up their medication dispenser weekly. I have worked in the ER and as a pharmacy technician. I do have a driver license and an excellent driving record. I am looking for a possible live-in position with separate quarters. I am looking for a position where it becomes less of a job and more of a joy to go to. I want to care for someone who becomes more than a client to me. I want to be able to add enrichment and beauty to this stage of their life and mine. I love animals, books, cooking and gardening, cards and games.
