About Arkadia

Nurturing a child's curiosity and watching them reach new milestones is my greatest passion. I have over 10 years of experience caring for up to 7 children at one time, in and out, of a classroom setting. I provide a safe, creative, and supportive environment for ages newborn through 10. My background includes Early Childhood Education(lead T1 teacher), in home nanny, and up to date First Aid/CPR Training. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and prioritizing clear, consistent communication throughout the day. I love engaging children in outdoor time and educational games! I currently am a lead toddler teacher, maintaining a 1:7 ratio of students between 18-36 months. I am ideally looking for something more personal and 1 on 1 with families, and a bit more flexiblilty of schedule for my family. I do have an almost 3. 5-year-old son who would be joining me on my daily adventures. Fun fact.. I currently am the captain of our local roller derby team, The Glass City Rollers.
