About Arizah

I'd describe my personality as calm, quiet, and grounded. I like working with kids because they're so full of energy and curiosity for the world. I imagine everyday for children is like staring at the clouds on a sunny day as an adult! I'm looking for a job that feels fulfilling/rewarding while also doesn't feel like work. I'm the 2nd eldest sibling of 6 so I have always taken care of younger children. Although I babysat throughout my teenage years, I began working with kids as an adult after graduating college and taking on the role of a teaching artist. I currently work in afterschool programming teaching students Art. In my spare time, I like to paint and make music most of the time. When not creating art I'm usually playing video games like The Sims or watching movies. One thing you should know about me is I am very reliable and I pride myself in my ability to show up for the community when necessary. I truly believe it takes a village and we are all a part of it.
