About Arikta

Hi! I'm a recent University of Washington graduate with degrees in Biology (Physiology) and Public Health. During college, I spent multiple years helping undergraduate students learn anatomy through peer-facilitated learning, and teaching students K-12 neuroscience. I really enjoy making challenging science concepts feel more approachable. I'm comfortable tutoring biology, anatomy & physiology, general science, and related subjects, as well as helping with homework, test preparation, and study strategies. I'm patient, encouraging, and happy to adapt to each student's learning style. My goal is for students to leave our sessions actually understanding the material and feeling more confident in it! I'm also an emt and CPR certified!
