Ariel is a pediatric speech-language pathologist with a passion for helping children communicate, eat, and thrive through her private practice Mango Pediatric Therapy. She completed a Master's in Speech and Hearing Sciences at UNC Chapel Hill and a specialized pediatric dysphagia fellowship at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Ariel has worked across the outpatient, PICU, NICU, and inpatient rehabilitation settings within a pediatric hospital, providing care for children with a wide range of needs. Her clinical attention to detail was formally recognized when she received the hospital's Good Catch Award for identifying a critical issue overlooked by physicians, a catch that led to life-altering surgery for the patient. A Fulbright recipient and returned Peace Corps volunteer, Ariel's love for speech pathology grew from her global volunteer work, helping children with medical, developmental and cognitive differences.
