About Arielle

Hello, my name is Arielle! I am a German language and literature PhD student with a lifelong love of children and language-learning: I find working with bi+ -lingual families particularly fulfilling. I am nearly fluent in German and have experience working as a German speaking nanny for children who emigrated here and could not speak English upon my hire. In addition, I have babysat extensively (toddlers - 10-year-olds), worked as an art camp counselor for children K-8, and tutored at a bi-lingual French-American charter school (unfortunately my French speaking is a little rusty at the moment, but it is certainly still up to par for homework help). I also served as an English tutor to German-speaking children while living abroad. I have a flexible schedule at the moment, and am very much interested in gaining more experience in working with infants and toddlers. My availability is totally open for the summer, but come fall I will not be able to work after 6 p.m. on Wednesdays.
