About Ariel

I worked for 2 years in an AFC home as a direct support worker and the medical liaison. I assisted with hygiene, household maintenance, errands, medical appointments, passing medications, scheduling appointments, and training new staff. I also have several years of experience as a registered behavior technician working with children and adults diagnosed with autism. Here, I taught hygiene skills, daily living skills, and coping skills. This taught me extensive skills in patience, redirection of dangerous behaviors into coping skills or safe activities, and assisting others in deescalating when stressed or frustrated.
