About Ariel

Hi families! My name is Ariel and I'm hoping to be the special helping hand that you're looking for. Originally from Chicago, I started babysitting at 16 and for the past 10 years I have worked in a multitude of environments ranging from special needs children, to rambunctious boys, to older children just needing a watchful eye. I have a theater background and studied playwriting, directing, and acting in NYC. Currently I am studying to return to school for nursing with a focus in psychoneuroimmunology. I incorporate my background in the arts and my newfound studies into my nannying practices by encouraging self expression, movement, creativity and self regulating practices. I love to engage kids in fun, imaginative activities and I love going outside and being active. I'm CPR and first- aid certified, DEI certified and have facilitated talking discussions in college and in professional settings. In my spare time I'm volunteering, reading, or in nature!
