About Ariel

I first became a babysitter/nanny while I was in high school, working for my neighbor. Upon being hired, I was told I would be caring for her 1-year-old son at least 3-4x a week. Within 2. 5 years of working for her, she gave birth to a baby girl & twin boys. I became a full time nanny for her at the age of 18 & was responsible for taking care of 4 children under the age of 4. My duties included doing dishes, laundry, cooking, cleaning, & helping the children with homework. My experience has prepared me to deal with a variety of situations when caring for children. Additionally, my most recent experience is in elderly care, specifically caring for patients with dementia and Alzheimer's. Fun facts about me: I am now a mother to a 1-year-old baby boy. I am pursuing a degree in speech pathology and have a great deal of patience and understanding for children who have autism, down syndrome, deafness, and many other disabilities. I speak English, Spanish and American Sign Language.
