I am very passionate about caring for those who have special needs. At my high school I am a Peer Coach, which means I work with all of the kids who have special needs. I work with kids who have downs syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and many more disabilities. It is my favorite part of the day. The girl I mainly work with has a mix of downs syndrome and autism. She is a gem. I help out with their homework, help them be able to complete everyday task, and help them with their lunch on occasion . I am passionate about making sure the kids have just as great of an experience at school as I do with friendships. At my job I work with two special needs children who are 13 and 6. They are so much fun, ad I love playing with them, as well as just having conversations.
