During my 5 years of hands on babysitting experience I have worked with children with Down Syndrome as well as autism, two diagnoses that require a special level of care and patience. In adult care I have experience in late-stage dementia as well as restricted mobility as a live-in caregiver. Both groups require special attention to detail as well as great organizational skills in order to not confuse the patients and be on top of all our required activities of the day. I provide a safe and understanding environment without neglecting fun as being joyful is the most important thing a caregiver can provide.
