About Arfah

Hi! My name is Arfah, and I've been a dedicated private tutor for the past 2. 5 years, working with students from elementary through middle school in my neighborhood. As a self-employed tutor, I've helped kids build confidence in subjects like math, reading, writing, and science through one-on-one sessions tailored to their unique learning styles. My goal is to make learning fun, approachable, and stress-free. I focus on breaking down tough concepts, building strong study habits, and encouraging kids to ask questions and think critically. Whether it's homework help, test prep, or catching up on missed material, I'm patient, organized, and passionate about helping students succeed. Currently, I'm a pre-nursing student at Lehman College (Class of 2027), which adds to my strong academic background and commitment to education.
