Becoming a caregiver stemmed from a deep desire to positively impact the lives of adults and seniors. Witnessing the challenges families face while caring for their loved ones, especially during my mother's hospice, motivated me to provide reliable support. I am a compassionate, empathetic, and understanding caregiver with three years of experience. I strive to connect with care recipients by understanding their preferences and personal history. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle confusion or agitation with patience. I provide respite care, assist with errands and shopping, offer personal care, perform light housekeeping, prepare meals, and provide mobility assistance. I communicate with families through verbal updates, text messages, or phone calls, always following their preferred method. I have some college education, and I'm CPR and First Aid certified.
