About Areli

As a big sister of four, I've always loved kids! It also made me a master diaper changer and master negotiator (toddlers are cunning). I'm patient, creative, loving, and incredibly organized. I enjoy spending time outside, playing cards or chess, or doing crafts and educational activities. I'm also a proud science nerd, and have a B. S. in Neuroscience from UCLA. I love sharing my love for science and learning, and was even part of the DOPA (Drug Outreach, Promoting Awareness) Team at UCLA where I created neuroscience based lesson plans and interactive activities. I also love the arts and did ballet for 15 years! I'm comfortable supporting your household rules and will always communicate with you about your child's day, using your preferred method. I'm also happy to help with cooking, tutoring, housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I am First Aid and CPR Training certified.
