About Arana
Hi! I'm Arana. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from North Carolina State University and currently work on Capitol Hill. I have over four years of professional tutoring and child sitting experience. While in college I spent 2 years sitting for a family with a 5-year-old and an 8-year-old. I have experience and am comfortable sitting multiple child families. I love pets of all kinds and have my own vehicle for transportation if necessary. In addition, I spent two years as a Lead Teacher at Sylvan Learning Center in North Carolina, where I taught students in math, reading, and science. I'm also certified to teach SAT and ACT prep. Education has always been a passion of mine, and I enjoy helping students build both academic skills and test-taking confidence.
