I have been working at a daycare for 4 months as an assistant teacher and realized it is my passion. I now am working towards getting my CDA and potentially my bachelor's for early child care. I don't have any children of my own but would love 4 in the future! I do however treat each tot as if they were my own and give them all the love and attention they need. The ratio for toddlers-teacher in Michigan is 1:4 which I think is appropriate and I am comfortable with that however, if you have a special needs baby I would be more comfortable being able to give them their own undivided attention. I am able to come up with activities and crafts that include learning and skills without screens for up to 8 hours so you will not have to worry about that! I am very creative and very patient with the kids, I've been told by many that my patience is very very high. I also love to include movement to get the jitters out so I could take them on a walk or just do movement dances!
