I have a lifetime of experience caring for animals and have been doing so professionally for over 20 years. I grew up riding and showing horses and started training horses professionally when I was in high school. I have also trained dogs and operated a small, independent dog rescue. I have been pet parent to large and small dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, mice, and a hermit crab. Additionally, I used to work at a zoo with over 120 species including birds, reptiles, amphibians, and big cats. I have dedicated my life to working with animals and I truly enjoy giving them my undivided attention and care. I am comfortable with all different pet personalities and will give your pet the individualized care they need. I have experience with pet first aid and can administer meds.

April has done a wonderful job caring for our cat, birds, fish, and rabbit several times when we’ve gone out of town over the last year. She is gentle and sweet with our animals, very responsible and trustworthy, and she communicates with us well. She is our go-to pet sitter, and we highly recommend her!
