About April

Hi, my name is April! I have several years of nannying and babysitting experience, and can provide references. I also worked and taught at a daycare and summer camp program for many years. I have a bachelor's degree in music therapy, and am a certified NICU music therapist. I have extensive experience working with infants and children in medical settings, and working with people w/ complex disabilities. I've also taken courses in child development, child psychology, and music therapy's uses with children and infants. I would love to incorporate enriching musical activities in your child's care! Music with children can promote self-expression, aid development, and provide opportunities for autonomy- and that's just scratching the surface! If you feel we'd be a good fit, I'd love to connect!
