Empowering students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With eight years of experience working in homes, special education health clinics and schools I have seen children grow tremendously over continued support and practice. I have experience teaching life skills and academic subjects with children from 2-17 years. I have implemented programs to help an autistic child learn to talk and a Down syndrome child learn to read. I personally struggled with a speech impediment until I was 12 so this work is personal for me. By actively listening and observing how your child engages with new material, I tailor my methods to fit their specific needs. I keep sessions engaging by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and celebrating every small success with positive reinforcement. Seeing your childs confidence grow as they master new skills is what makes this work so rewarding for me. I look forward to supporting your childs learning and growth.
