About April

I've spent most of my life caring for animals. From my pet baby snapping turtle when I was eight, on to lizards, snakes, parakeets and dogs and then adding cats, chickens, ducks, geese, goats and horses when we moved to an acreage. Horses where my main area of care and expertise for over 10 years and I always had a dog, until recent years when I haven't been able due to moving around a lot and traveling for work at the time. I worked at a vet clinic for a while in high school as well and enjoyed getting to care for so many different animals every day. I love animals of every kind and appreciate the joy they add to life. I just switched jobs and will be working part time on a flexible schedule, so my availability will be pretty open and flexible for taking on pet care jobs. I am very open to working with the needs of pets and their owners.
