I'd describe my personality as creative, empathetic & attentive. I like caring for seniors because I have respect for the road they have paved for us and want to give back with the skills I have been gifted. I enjoy providing companionship and encouragement for them to feel less alone and empowered to live self determined lives . I'm looking for a job that is flexible, local & a good fit for both the senior & myself. I started caring for seniors in 2019 when I became the primary caregiver for my neighbor who had no one else to help provide care and help her age in place. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my friends and family & enjoy nature, animals, walking, gardening, cooking & going to the theatre & library. One thing you should know about me is that I come strongly referred by those who have seen the joy, compassion, patience, care skills, resourcefulness, creativity & advocacy that I bring into every situation.
