About April

April has been our loving nanny the last 7+ years for our 3 boys (8 YO twins and a 5 YO). They will all be in school full time starting in the fall and unfortunately we will not be able to guarantee 40 hours / week. We are so sad to see her leave us but she has become a part of our family and will be in our lives forever. During her time as our nanny, she has been extremely reliable, creative, nurturing, fun, firm (in a good/necessary way) and adaptable…seamlessly helping us as we grew our family from 2 to 3 and through COVID when schools, and all public spaces were closed. In the 7 years with us she has never once been late, she is flexible and understanding if we need her to start earlier than usual or stay later than usual. My husband and I both work outside of the house and I travel for work a few times a year. She always offers additional help when she knows I am going on a work trip. She is energetic and keeps the boys busy - often taking them on trips to the library, walks through the neighborhood, playgrounds, and the zoo. Our kids are in various after school activities - she is on top of their ever-changing schedules and keeps their sports gear well organized. She does their laundry throughout the week, packs school snacks / lunches, and light housework - our house is always kept tidy (no dishes are left in the sink, toys are picked up, their clothes are put away, etc). Most importantly, our boys LOVE her and are often sad to see her leave at the end of the day. Please reach out to me if you need additional information.
