I have been a Licensed Nurse since 1997. I have had a diverse medical career from obstetrics, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The bulk of my career has been in patient care coordination and management. I have been a primary caretaker for both of my parents for diagnosis of COPD, CHF, Stroke, Vascular Dementia and Hemiplegia. Having been a caregiver for my own family members, as well as a career nurse, allows me to analyze situations from several perspectives. I believe our aging society does not have enough resources available to give them dignity in the Silver Years while still allowing other family members to experience their own younger lives to the fullest - given the family dynamics and diagnosis within.
