Hello my name is April!! I like caring for seniors because I understand we will all (if lucky) reach that point in our lives and I sincerely hope to create an environment where I am seen as less of a caregiver and more of a friend. I started caring for seniors when I turned 14 and got my very first job at a nursing home, here, I was in charge of mainly overlooking food and dietary needs, but since then I have worked in two nursing homes and two hospitals and I have enjoyed every bit of it! In my spare time, I like to read and write and practice mindfulness with mediation and yoga.
