Hello! My name is April. I am a mother of two school aged children (9 and 13). I have been employed as a flight attendant for 20+ years. I'm a fun-loving and experienced caregiver of 14+ years. Over the last 6 years, I have been a substitute teacher at a local private preschool. I am currently employed as a substitute teacher for Virginia Beach Public Schools. I believe infant care to be my true calling, an extraordinary privilege. I absolutely adore spending time with, caring for and loving on our precious little ones; I would be deeply honored to play a role in the nurturing of your sweet baby. When caring for children, my approach is to be patient, calm, and creative. I strive to be friendly and approachable to both children and parents. I enjoy playing board games, outdoor sports, and educational games with children. My goal is to create a nurturing environment where your child can learn and grow. I'm excited to bring my experience and passion for childcare to your family!
