About Ann

I am an exuberant, inquisitive, and kind creative problem solver. I have 20 years teaching experience, 15 years in childcare, and have 6 years as live-in help experience. I teach mostly History, Language, making and Science. English: I worked as an English tutor for more than 20 years. History: I traveled and taught abroad. I teach History, Art History, Art and English teacher at college level. Science: I worked at the Field Museums Play Lab teaching science to 2/6-year-olds. I have more than 15 years experience as both live-in and full time nanny. I have recent experience with new borns. I also did live- in eldercare for several years. My interests reside in nature based when possible, few to no screens, reading, play as the "work" if children, Montessori, and emilio reggio. I am also an artist. My artistic practice resides within writing, textile history, performance art and teaching.
