I'd describe my personality as caring, compassionate, and patient. I like caring for seniors because I see the dignity in people of any age and know that caring for an elderly person takes a team of people . My gifts and abilities enable me to approach caring for someone with respect and acceptance. I'm looking for a job that opportunities for me to make a difference in someone's family, including the team that is providing care for the elderly person. I started caring for seniors when I worked as a medical social worker in a hospital setting. Assessing the needs of senior patients and coming up with a discharge plan for the patient and their family helped me understand the many facets that go into providing a safe environment at home. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, especially my granddaughter that lives locally. I enjoy cooking and gardening. I love to hike and cycle. One thing you should know about me is I am dependable and a team player.
