I am a retired RN who just moved from Delaware to Stevensville. My most recent position was caring on weekends to give the family relief for an 89-year-old with Alzheimer's disease. I assisted her with dressing, prepared meals & supervised eating, and generally provided companionship. Prior to that, I worked with another lady also with Alzheimer's - some bathing, dressing, but mostly the companionship. In early days, I'd take her out for lunch or for a ride.
