About Annmarie

I retired from Johns Hopkins University in 2018 after 30 years of service as a Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Data Assistant. Before and after my career at JHU, I have always enjoyed working with children. I provided childcare for five years prior to joining the university, and after retiring, I returned to childcare in June 2019, caring for a wonderful family until they relocated later that year. In January 2020, I began working through Care. com with one child, which quickly grew into a nanny share. Over the past four years, I have cared for a total of 11 children, supporting families as their needs changed with relocations and school transitions. Most recently, I've been caring for four children who will all be starting school this September. As a result, I will be available to work with a new family starting in February. I am energetic, reliable, and dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment. (Fun fact: I start my mornings at the gym at 5 a.m. !)

Annmarie is the most incredible caregiver. Our daughter has thrived because of her. She always has a schedule for the day that's structured around learning and fun. She gets down on the ground with the children, runs outside with them, and creates games and activities to each kid's interests. I knew my daughter was in good hands with her. We love Annmarie so much!
