About Ann Marie

I'd describe my personality as positive, supportive, and reflective. I'm looking for opportunities to help children who need support in working toward their academic potential. I'm actually a special educator and developmental specialist, so tutoring is just an extension of the work I do daily. However, I have been doing this work for about 20 years. In my spare time, I like to spend time with family and friends and serve at my church. I also enjoy cooking and being a lifelong learner. One thing you should know about me is I love helping children overcome obstacles, whether it's behavioral, developmental, or in academics. My skills include helping children see that they can learn with the right support, helping families work with their children, and targeting reading deficiencies, which will affect all academic progress.
