I have life experience in caring for older adults. I cared for my grandmother who had dementia, my mother and father with complex medical situations. I helped, bathe, clothe, manage and oversee daily activities, take them to doctor appointments. We went out for activities or for a walk when their health allowed. Sometimes just sitting with that person and watching tv with them , doing a puzzle or reading out loud is all they needed for that day. I find showing up regularly with compassion and a smile with helping with everyday events is very comforting for any age !
